<private> redaction

Why Unified Log messages show <private>: values marked private are hidden when logged unless a profile enables private data.

Arguments logged without a %{public} qualifier (and most strings and objects by default) are treated as private: macOS stores <private> instead of the value, unless private logging was enabled for that subsystem by a configuration profile at the time. Numbers and static strings are usually public.

The value is not in the tracev3 file, so no parser can recover it. The format string still tells you what kind of event was logged, and neighbouring entries often fill the gap.
